CHRIST CENTERED  · LIVE  · TEACHER-LED

Your child won't just
watch a screen. They'll
be
known by a teacher.

Live, Teacher-Led Christian Elementary School — Online, Grades 3–5

Real lessons, real classmates, real-time — every day. Not recorded videos. Not learning alone.

Online school,
without the isolation

Most online schools hand a child a stack of recorded videos. We do the opposite — a live

teacher, a real class, and a learning model built to grow thinkers, not just viewers

A live teacher, every day

Lessons are taught in real time over Zoom and Google Meet by a Christian teacher who knows your child by name. With a 15:1 student-to-staff ratio, classes stay small enough for real discussion, feedback, and encouragement

Our Units of Inquiry invite children to ask, investigate, and create — moving them toward higher-order thinking instead of memorize-and-forget worksheets.

Protected by design

Every child learns on a school-managed iPad. No YouTube. No social media. A safer window to the world — and real peace of mind for parents.

"Will my child just stare at a screen all day?"

It's the first question every thoughtful parent asks. Here's the difference between a typical
video-based online school and a day at Lioncrest.

TYPICAL ONLINE SCHOOL

Pre-recorded videos, watched alone

A child paused on "play," not engaged

Recall and worksheets — lower-order thinking

Open internet on a personal device

Little relationship with a teacher

Learning in isolation, few real friends

Inquiry that builds analysis & creation

Locked-down, school-managed iPad

A teacher who disciples and knows them

An annual in-person gathering with friends

A DAY AT LIONCREST

Live, teacher-led lessons with classmates

Discussion, questions, and collaboration

Parents tell the story best

Watch why families chose Lioncrest — and what changed for their children once learning became live, personal, and Christ-centered

A framework, not a script

Inquiry-Based Learning gives us a structure for excellence with the freedom to make learning relevant, contextual, and alive. Here's what a Lioncrest education is built on

01 Units of Inquiry

Learning is organized around big, transferable ideas. Children investigate real questions across subjects, building knowledge that connects rather than knowledge that's forgotten.

02 Live, collaborative lessons

Teachers facilitate in real time. Students think out loud, defend ideas, and build on one another — the kind of active learning that develops analysis, evaluation, and creativity

03 The LIFT reading program

Literacy in Full Throttle is our accelerated path to confident reading — so strong that students new to English have outpaced native speakers.

04 Christian character, woven in

Faith isn't a bolt-on subject. Whole-child care and Christ-centered character formation shape how we teach, how we treat each other, and how children see the world.

Reading, accelerated

Reading is the doorway to everything else. LIFT is our proprietary literacy program designed to make learning to read fast, joyful, and lasting.

Students who arrived not yet speaking English fluently have gone on to outperform native English speakers

We don't raise copies.
We raise originals.

The world runs on cookie-cutter systems — and most schooling is built to match, turning out copies. We believe something different. God gives every child a unique set of talents and calls them His masterpiece: an original, never a duplicate. Our mission is to draw that original out.

Because originals don't follow the crowd — they lead it.

original

/əˈrɪdʒənl/  ·  adjective & noun

A thing of singular, unique character; a person who is different from others in an appealing, interesting way — one of fresh initiative and inventive capacity.

"For we are God's masterpiece…" — Ephesians 2:10

An original, not a copy

Every child arrives with a unique set of God-given talents. Our live, personal teaching draws them out — it doesn't stamp in sameness

Character that leads

Rooted in our five values, students learn to serve, do the right thing, and lead by lifting others up — the heart of real leadership

Courage to do great exploits

We raise originals with the confidence to attempt hard, God-sized things — and to create what's never existed before

Five values at the heart of Lioncrest

Every lesson, every interaction, every habit we build points back to these

I

Christ Centered

Every lesson, every decision — rooted in Him.

SCHOOL-MANAGED DEVICES

A device the school controls — so you don't have to worry about the rest

Fully school-managed

We set it up & support it — never your headache.

No YouTube

Distraction and rabbit-holes removed.

Every Lioncrest student learns on a school-managed Apple iPad. We configure it, lock it down, monitor it, and keep it updated — parents manage nothing. Your child simply opens the device and learns, and you know exactly what they can and can't reach.

No social media

No feeds, no DMs, no exposure.

Monitored & safe internet

Supervised access, released to families on exit.

They learn online — but they grow up together

Online doesn't mean isolated. Once a year, Lioncrest families gather in person for a day of sports competition, science camps, and friendship — for students and parents alike. As our community grows, so will the gatherings we share.

Our annual gathering

Once a year, students step away from the screen to meet their classmates and teachers face-to-face.

Sports competition

Friendly, active competition that builds teamwork, confidence, and real friendships.

Science camp

Hands-on experiments and discovery — inquiry brought to life, together.

Parents connect too

A chance for parents to meet other Lioncrest families and build friendships of their own

More events and gatherings are on the way as our community grows.

Starting strong, building thoughtfully

We're launching with the grades we can serve with excellence — and growing one well-built year at a time toward a full K–12 academy.

FALL 2026

VISION

Full K–12

A complete Christ-centered online academy,

K through 12.

A note on accreditation

Lioncrest Online Academy is actively pursuing accreditation. We hold ourselves to a high academic standard today — benchmarking against leading public-school standards as a measure of excellence — while we complete the accreditation process. We'll keep families updated every step of the way.

OUR HEART

Children are created in the image of God — and made to create.

We believe the highest thing a child can be taught to do is think, reason, and create — reflecting the Creator who made them. Passive, video-only schooling rarely develops that God-given capacity. Live, inquiry-driven learning does. That conviction shapes everything at Lioncrest.

"So God created man in his own image…" — Genesis 1:27

Lioncrest Online Academy is affiliated with the Manna Ministries family of schools — so the faith and values we teach your child are the ones we're rooted in.

CREATING LEADERS

Give your child a teacher who knows them.

Applications for our founding Grades 3–5 class are open for Spring 2027. Spots are limited by design.
